I'm managing the sale of a collection of tools. The owner wishes to stay anonymous and besides I have a forum for this sort of thing. My role is to do any refurbishing that any of the tools offered require. In this case that task is fairly easy. Most of these tools are in like new, never been used condition. Additionally I am to market these tools to new homes where they will be appreciated either thru use or part of another collection.

First up is a comprehensive set of Blue Spruce Tools bench chisels. This set was manufactured when Dave Jeske was still the creator and owner of Blue Spruce Tools. Only a couple of these chisels have ever been used. Most still have the original grind and secondary bevels. The handles are African Blackwood. There are 11 chisels in this set. Sizes are 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 1, and 1 1/2". There is also a heart pine chisel rack made by the owner that goes with the set. These will be re_ground and new secondary bevel honed to working sharp prior to shipping. Price is $1100.

Item 2 is a Marcou S20A smoothing plane. This large smoothing plane has a 11 1/2" sole length, uses a Lee Valley Veritas 2 1/4" iron and weighs in at just over 8 lbs. Plenty of mass and also has an adjustable mouth. Configuration is bevel up.
The wood I believe is Rhodesian Teak. Absolutely unused. Still has the original grind and bevel on the iron. Dovetailed Brass and steel construction. Price is $1900.

Item 3 is a set of bench chisels that I'm offering for sale. Sizes are 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1". Steel is Presco high carbon steel. Heat treated in house of maximum performance. Handles are resin infused birdseye maple. Overall length is 9 3/4". Price is $800 for the set.
